Elizabeth (“Liz”) A. Cook is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan. At U of M, she dedicated her academic and professional efforts to explore how law and policy impacts people’s lives. Her work as a student piqued her interest in legal theory, civil discourse, and American history. She is a dedicated writer—she served as Editorial Page Editor for the Michigan Daily and further developed her passion for writing, editing, and leadership.
Liz brings her experience in journalism, administrative leadership, and marketing to the team. She is eager to learn about employment law, civil litigation, and the nuances of legal writing. After building her legal skillset at Hurwitz Law, Liz hopes to pursue law school and exemplify what is means to be an advocate.
